Homeschool Dads

Last week, we buried my husband's father, James H. Sanders, Sr. He was a godly man and a patriarch much unlike the prideful, controlling types who are sometimes applauded in homeschooling circles. He provided for his wife and children, humbly served his church and community, and faithfully brought quarters to his grandkids.

I'm blessed to have a husband who is so much like his father. He doesn't help me teach the children or lead hour long, nightly devotions. But he loves, he serves and he provides. Friends, that is something to celebrate.

Take time today to make a list of things you love about the man in your home. Here are some other tips for honoring homeschool dads.

Excellent tips and reminders in that list!!! I have been very convicted lately about keeping things the way my husband would like them instead of the way I think is best. :)
