Our Year in Review

In the midst of the trials, there were many things that went right for us this year.

We tried lapbooking for the first time this August, and found that we really enjoy it. We completed a Thanksgiving lapbook from Hands of a Child last week, and this week we're working on a Madeline's Christmas lapbook I downloaded for $2.50 from CurrClick.

We wrapped up flag football season at the end of October, and Jasmine played organized sports for the first time ever in a P'nut basketball class at our local recreation center. She even brought home a trophy!

I haven't had time to continue posting Make it Fun Monday activities every week, but I have compiled a list of 5 fun and easy holiday activities in this month's newsletter. If you're interested, you can sign up for it here.

For school this month, we'll be reading traditional Christmas stories and enjoying our family's favorite holiday traditions. I hope to share more about them in the coming weeks. Happy Holidays!
