A Vocabulary Lesson

On the way home from church, Drew asked what the word "denies" meant.

James immediately piped in, "When you're playing football and someone's trying to get the ball, but you catch it - you 'deny' them the ball."

That's not exactly the context in which Peter denies Christ, but I give it an A for effort!
